Pierre Cavalan’s beautiful and structurally complex metal assemblages constitute a personal allegory for life, death and everything in between. He uses art to objectify his emotions and experiences. Through the masterful use of found, collected and often domestic objects he explores the blurred borders between art and reality. Being an artist is an around-the-clock experience for Cavalan. Like \u00ab\u00a0the cat that cannot hide the fact that he is a cat\u00a0\u00bb,<\/em> he can be nothing but the artist he is.<\/p>\n
