\u00ab\u00a0I explore nature and architecture. I observe and absorb the world around me. Indulging my curiosity and sensation, I discover chaos and order, beauty and bizarreness, unexpected and familiar things. I see compelling colors, shapes and structures. Like a collector, I gather all these precious impressions. Peculiar shapes arise in my thoughts. I explore them. They need to be reduced to their logical essence, yielding a constructional drawing. Feeling the need for simplicity, I limit myself to one material. I work it only by hand. Although driven by curiosity and the desire to build something distinctive, I spend time focusing on the moment and the rhythm of the process. The finished piece should surprise, fascinate, and amaze me. Like a maelstrom, the piece of jewellery has to catch my eye and take me into its world, touch my senses. It should be something unique, curious, something beautiful, exotic, but also something familiar. It should attract someone to be explored, collected, and worn.\u00a0\u00bb\u00a0<\/em>Mirjam Hiller<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0J’explore la nature et l’architecture. J’observe et absorbe le monde autour de moi. Satisfaire mes sens et ma curiosit\u00e9, d\u00e9couvrir le chaos et l’ordre, la beaut\u00e9 et la bizarrerie, l\u2019inattendu et le familier. Je vois des couleurs, des formes et des structures irr\u00e9sistibles. Comme un collectionneur, je rassemble toutes ces pr\u00e9cieuses impressions.. Je construis en pens\u00e9e, des formes particuli\u00e8res. Je les explore, les r\u00e9duit \u00e0 l\u2019essentiel, ce qui donne un dessin de construction. Ressentant le besoin de simplicit\u00e9, je me limite \u00e0 un mat\u00e9riau. Je le travaille \u00e0 la main seulement. Bien que pouss\u00e9 par la curiosit\u00e9 et le d\u00e9sir de construire quelque chose de particulier, je passe du temps et me concentre sur le moment et le rythme du process. La pi\u00e8ce finie devrait me surprendre, me fasciner, m\u2019\u00e9tonner. Comme un tourbillon, le bijou cr\u00e9\u00e9 doit m\u2019attirer et m\u2019entrainer dans son monde, toucher mes sens. Il devrait \u00eatre quelque chose d’unique, curieux, quelque chose de beau, exotique, mais aussi quelque chose de familier.
