Son p\u00e8re Rana Khan \u00e9tait un compositeur de talent, tout comme son fr\u00e8re Mame Khan avec lequel il joue depuis 15 ans. Son instrument : le Khamaycha, instrument en voie de disparition au Rajasthan ; instrument \u00e0 17 cordes, \u00e0 archet, fabriqu\u00e9 avec du bois de manguier, avec un r\u00e9sonateur arrondi recouvert d&rsquo;une peau de ch\u00e8vre.
