Where David Bielander is involved, nothing is as it seems. The artist free-associates objects, forms, colours and everyday scenes. He simultaneously maintains abstraction and sufficient simplicity, leaving us free to make our own interpretation. His decorative items, however, are always made to be worn, and to be becoming to the wearer.
Lorsque David Bielander est impliqué, rien n’est comme il paraît. L’artiste associe librement des objets, des formes, des couleurs et des scènes de tous les jours. Il entretient simultanément abstraction et un certain degré de simplicité, nous laissant libre de notre propre interprétation. Cependant, ses objets décoratifs sont toujours créés pour être portés, et pour faire de plus en pus corps avec l’utilisateur.
